Kinroku Izuhara was the first captain of the 3rd Division over a thousand years ago. As one of the original captains of the Gotei 13, Kinroku possessed an immense amount of spiritual energy, which he showcased by effortlessly defeating numerous Quincy warriors during the first invasion of Soul Society.
As a captain within the Gotei 13, Kinroku demonstrated exceptional skill in Zanjutsu, particularly evident when he executed precise slashes aimed at his enemies' throats during battles against the Lichtreich.
Yhwach noted that Kinroku was notorious for his brutal and cold-blooded nature. This reputation was solidified when he massacred the Quincy of the Lichtreich during their initial invasion of Soul Society, all while maintaining a stern expression.
Zanpakuto: In its sealed form, Kinroku's Zanpakuto resembles a wakizashi with a green handle, a square golden tsuba featuring concentric engravings and protruding corners, and a green scabbard.
