A seasoned member of the Osaka team, he has completed the game three times prior to the Nuri mission. As Anzu quotes, he engages in sexual activities with "anything that has a wet hole" before killing it.
During the mission, a 100-point alien grabs him and attempts to suffocate him. Knowing his imminent death, Kuwabara has sex with the alien before the inevitable (the alien is a shapeshifter, currently appearing as a demon composed of hundreds of nude women). Like other members of the Osaka Team, he takes drugs before the hunt. He was rescued by Kato and managed to escape safely. Currently, he is one of the few survivors of the Osaka Gantz team. After the mission, he decides he wants to leave Gantz.
In a special chapter dedicated to the Osaka team, it is revealed that his occupation is an English teacher. The attitudes of others towards him suggest that he only reveals his perverted side to a select few, particularly within the Gantz team.
