A young boy assists his mother in running a restaurant. One day, he discovers Kurumi wandering the streets after she fled from Hak Lung. He takes her home to care for her, initially suspecting her of being a prostitute. However, he quickly falls in love with her.
When Hak Lung retrieves Kurumi, Ka Fai is captured by Hak Lung's men and tied up. They force him to watch as Hak Lung rapes Kurumi in front of him. Despite this horrific ordeal, Ka Fai makes a solemn vow to rescue Kurumi from Hak Lung one day.
On the day of Hak Lung and Kurumi's wedding, Ka Fai seizes the opportunity. Outside the church where they are meeting, he assassinates Hak Lung, determined to free Kurumi from his grasp once and for all.
