An infamous mobster and leader of the Dragon King Organization based in Hong Kong, Hak Lung made an unexpected appearance in Japan where he was injured. He encountered Kurumi Akino, a schoolgirl returning from her part-time job, threatening to rape her if she didn't assist him. Despite his mature demeanor, Hak Lung is merely eighteen years old and attends a school in Hong Kong established by him and his organization. Known for his womanizing ways, having slept with countless women, rumors suggest he disposes of mistresses once they cease to be useful for personal or political gains. His tragic childhood, involving royal lineage disputes and his mother's death, led him to be raised by a strict man who introduced him to the mafia world. It was this mentor who gave him the name "Hak Lung," meaning "black dragon" in Cantonese.
After being saved by Kurumi Akino, Hak Lung ordered his men to bring her to Hong Kong as he had fallen deeply in love with her. This marked a change in him; while retaining his brutal mafia persona at work, he became gentle and kind towards Kurumi, even calling her his "airen," meaning "lover." He appeared in another work by Mayu Shinjou, "Love Celeb," hired by Gin’s father to kidnap and treat Kirara in Hong Kong.
When his fiancée, the beautiful Lai Lan, tried to take Kurumi's virginity to punish Hak Lung for not loving her, he killed Lai Lan in front of Kurumi, causing Kurumi to hate him for murdering her best friend. Unbeknownst to them, this was all part of Lai Lan's plan to turn Kurumi against Hak Lung. As Kurumi grew fearful that he might kill her too, Hak Lung resorted to drastic measures to keep her close. He repeatedly raped her, making her body dependent on him. From then on, he treated her like a slave, showing no affection despite his deep love for her, even handing her over to Fung Lung.
Once Kurumi lost all memories of him and the Dragon King Organization, Hak Lung decided to restart their relationship, even leaving the mafia, branded as a traitor and unable to live a normal life. Eventually, he rejoined the mafia and proposed to Kurumi. On his way to marry her in church, he was assassinated by Ka Fai, a young boy who vowed to take Kurumi away from him, leaving her utterly alone in the end.
