Jinta Hanakari is a small, red-haired boy whose responsibility is to perform manual labor for the shop, such as cleaning. However, he often shirks his duties and forces Ururu to do all the work. Despite frequently bullying her, he does care for Ururu, as evidenced by his recovery of her body after she was injured by an arrancar. Although he is more knowledgeable than his youthful appearance might suggest, Jinta remains quite childish. He refers to Renji Abarai as a "moocher" and took pleasure in teasing, spitting, and drooling on Ichigo when Ichigo's Chain of Fate was severed and he was transforming into a hollow while incapacitated. Jinta seems to have a crush on Yuzu Kurosaki, whom he calls "The Goddess," and considers anything she gives him as sacred. His main weapon is an oversized iron rod, similar to a Tetsubo, which he uses for attacks.
