He is the son of the owner of a ramen shop. Nao begins working there after getting into a road accident where he accidentally hits her with his bike (it was actually her fault as she wasn't paying attention to the traffic lights). His father had been ill, so Nao had to manage the shop on his own. During the accident, Nao broke some specially made bowls worth 13,000,000 yen (they later discover they had been tricked since no bowls could be that expensive), which were given to them by their wealthiest and most special customer, Nakatsugawa-Sama. They go to apologize to him, and when they explain the situation, he reveals that the person who made the bowls was someone he loved very much. At this moment, Landlady-san, the owner of the apartment where Hisashi and Nao live, enters and presents him with new, handmade bowls. They find out that the 'Boyfriend' she often mentions is Nakatsugawa-Sama, and the bowls are now replaced by the ones she newly made for him. She had been working off the debt for the broken bowls but now doesn't need to, so she leaves. Later, she realizes she can't work anywhere else and comes back. When Seihi is at work, he has a really furious face, but outside, he is very sweet and seems to have feelings for Nao.
