Captain of the royal guards, he is Chaka and Pell's boss. Known as Mr. 8 within Baroque Works, he infiltrated the organization alongside Princess Vivi to uncover its true boss and objectives. He initially introduces himself as Igarappoi in Whiskey Peak. Igaram fights using a saxophone that shoots bullets when played and has small guns hidden in his hair that fire when he pulls his necktie.
After being exposed, Igaram dressed as Vivi to act as a decoy while the Straw Hats helped Vivi return to Alabasta. However, Nico Robin (then Miss All Sunday) blew up his ship, leading everyone to believe he was dead until he reappeared alive and well in Nanohana at the end of the Alabasta arc, which seemed to be part of Robin's plan.
He later caught up with the rebellion, bringing along a witness named Kappa, who saw Mr. 2 Bon Clay disguised as Cobra, the king of Alabasta, proving that Baroque Works started the rebellion, not the king. During a speech to the people of Alabasta, Igaram again acted as Vivi's decoy so she could secretly say goodbye to the Straw Hats. In the Rainbow Mist Arc, he is seen placing Rainbow Mist Volume X on a shelf in Alabasta.
Igaram seems to have a penchant for wearing women's clothing, having dressed as Vivi multiple times out of loyalty to her. This unusual habit may simply reflect his unwavering dedication to the princess.
