The president of the Galley-La company, Iceburg, is currently 38 years old. He is well-loved by the citizens of Water 7, particularly by his employees who enjoy his presence and often seek his advice on shipbuilding matters.
Iceburg sometimes exhibits two distinct personalities. At times, he behaves childishly—canceling meetings to show people around, refusing to meet with individuals he dislikes, finding and caring for animals, and even naming a mouse "Tyrannosaurus." However, when necessary, he can be extremely serious, revealing that his childish behavior only surfaces when he's relaxed.
For four years following Tom's death, Iceburg held the blueprints for Pluton. After this period, he secretly passed them to Franky, Tom's other apprentice whom he had known since childhood. Since this transfer was done in secret, the government still believes Iceburg possesses the plans, leading officials to regularly attempt to retrieve them from him.
Initially, Iceburg believed Nico Robin deserved death because she could decipher ancient Poneglyphs that could revive Pluton. During the Water 7 arc, he tried to kill her but later realized she was not evil and changed his opinion about her.
The recent Aqua Laguna devastated Water 7, inspiring Iceburg with the idea of turning Water 7 into a floating city. When discussing this with Franky, he quoted Tom's famous line, "With a DON!" Franky agreed that the phrase suited Iceburg.
* Iceburg was recently voted the 19th most popular character in One Piece.
* According to a Volume 43 SBS, Iceburg’s birthday is January 3rd. This is derived from the pronunciation of "ai" (the English letter "i") which looks like the number one, and "su," the first part of the Japanese word for "three" (surī). Combined, they form "Aisu," the beginning of Iceburg’s name.
* Despite Eiichiro Oda spelling his name as "Iceburg" multiple times, it isn't always consistent. Many fans prefer "Iceberg," and the anime once spelled it as "Icebarg," while Oda himself used "Iceberg" in a recent fan poll.
* Occasionally, Iceburg uses the term "nmaa" at the start of his sentences, seemingly as an expression of frustration, similar to saying "well."
