Hondou Hidemi is an undercover CIA agent who has successfully infiltrated the Black Organization using the codename Kir. She has a younger brother named Eisuke. Due to a critical error that nearly exposed her true identity, she was compelled to eliminate her father, Hondou Ethan, who was also affiliated with the CIA.
Despite the necessity to uphold her cover within the Black Organization, Hidemi retains a compassionate nature and strives to save as many lives as possible. She has developed a strong trust in Conan and his judgment after observing his actions. Within the Black Organization, she projects a cold demeanor and shows obedience to her superiors, yet she displays more mercy compared to other members, occasionally raising Gin's suspicions.
