Hamburg is a large, gorilla-like human who is almost always seen laughing. He frequently carries Foxy around and often assists him in cheating. Despite his admiration for Foxy, he can't help but laugh heartily whenever Foxy fails. Hamburg leads the "Groggy Monsters," even though he is the smallest among them. During the Groggy Ring event, he is defeated by a series of kicks from Sanji. However, in the filler episodes, he returns to participate in other competitions.
Like the other Groggy Monsters, whose names are inspired by culinary dishes, Hamburg is named after the Japanese dish known as Hamburg steak.
