Fusae Campbell Kinoshita is Agasa Hakase's long-lost love and an accessory fashion designer known for her ginkgo leaf-themed brand.
Fusae Campbell, of Japanese-American heritage, has the unusual trait (for a Japanese person) of blond hair. Feeling self-conscious about this feature (likely exacerbated by teasing from intolerant schoolmates), she became very shy and started wearing a low hat to conceal her hair.
When Fusae was in fourth grade, she met Agasa Hiroshi, who helped her overcome her shyness. The two developed a deep fondness for each other, especially since Agasa never ridiculed her for her hair color. However, Fusae soon had to move away before she could express her feelings for him. In a letter she left behind, she promised that once every ten years she would wait for Agasa at "the place of memories" (the ginkgo trees behind Teitan Elementary School) until he met up with her. The hints she left were too complex for Agasa to decipher, and it wasn't until 40 years later that the two were finally reunited with the help of the Detective Boys. By then, Fusae had become a successful fashion designer, with a ginkgo leaf as her trademark signature (because Agasa had once commented that her hair looked like ginkgo leaves in the fall).
Although their reunion was inconclusive due to misunderstandings about each other, they did recognize one another, and Agasa was able to express his feelings to her. Whether the two will meet again remains to be seen.
She has one parent who speaks English as a foreign language. Her stepfather has a friend named Billy whose wife admires the ginkgo leaf-themed purses Fusae designs.
Fusae has a kind and caring personality, as shown when she loaned Ran her umbrella while waiting for Agasa ten years prior to the current timeline.
