X. Drake is a former Marine Rear Admiral who has turned to piracy, now serving as the captain of the Drake Pirates. He is one of the eleven pirates known as "The Eleven Supernovas" at Sabaody Archipelago, each with bounties exceeding 100,000,000 Berries when the Straw Hats arrived. Drake sports a distinctive appearance with what seems to be a feathered cocked hat and a mask on his head. He has an "X" mark on his broad chin and another large "X" across his chest and upper body. When viewed from above, his bicorne resembles the head of a Pterodactyl. His attire includes armor on his legs and arms, featuring knee-high boots and gloves that extend past his elbows. He wears leather pants and a leather shirt, secured by a belt with an ornately designed circular buckle. Additionally, he dons a black cape lined with crimson fabric on the inside and trimmed with fur around the neck. Similar to his fellow Supernova, Basil Hawkins, Drake tends to avoid unnecessary violence, particularly if it might draw too much attention. Despite carrying a four-bladed axe, he is also skilled in swordsmanship, wielding a rapier-like sword. His prowess is such that he can interrupt a fight between two other Supernovas with a single move. Drake possesses immense physical strength, demonstrated by his ability to kick aside a "copy" of the Shichibukai, Bartholomew Kuma. As a former Marine, he has a deep understanding of the World Government's operations, which he uses to protect himself and predict Marine movements. He is also knowledgeable about advanced technologies like the Pacifista and Vegapunk's innovations.
