Starrk is a male Arrancar who seems very laid-back. His shoulder-length dark hair is parted down the middle, and he sports a goatee. The remnants of his Hollow mask form a jawbone necklace, and his Hollow hole is located on his sternum, just below the tip of his mask. When Aizen sends him to retrieve Orihime Inoue, Starrk expresses discomfort with the task but completes it almost instantly, despite attempts by Kenpachi Zaraki and Ichigo Kurosaki to stop him. He later emerges as one of the top three Espada during the raid on Karakura Town.
His Espada number, 1, is marked on his left hand. It's revealed that Lilynette is not his Fracción but rather a part of him. Their souls were split into two bodies when they became Arrancar. When united, their powers are fully unleashed. Starrk's unique ability allows him to fragment his soul into wolves, which can be controlled like weapons by both him and Lilynette. They even refer to these wolves as separate entities, with Starrk saying to his wolves, "Let's go, Stark."
