Chizuru Honsho is one of Ichigo's friends and classmates. She is a lesbian and often makes advances towards Orihime, which usually results in her getting hit by Tatsuki. Chizuru exhibits some disturbing behavior, including asking about the cup size of a little girl.
During the "Fake Karakura Town" arc, Chizuru and Michiru are found asleep by Tatsuki, Mizuiro, and Keigo. As Aizen's presence approaches, Chizuru wakes up, showing that she has a slight awareness of spirits but not enough to see ghosts yet. Throughout the ensuing crisis of fleeing from Aizen, Chizuru becomes mentally shaken by the rapid and strange events unfolding around her, especially by her friends' relatively calm reactions.
She stands out as the only one of Ichigo's classmates who does not immediately recognize him as a Soul Reaper.
