Chika Shihouin was the inaugural captain of the 2nd Division over a millennium ago. As one of the original captains of the Gotei 13, Chika exhibited an immense amount of spiritual energy, exemplified by his effortless defeat and slaying of numerous Quincy warriors during the first invasion of Soul Society.
During the Lichtreich's assault on the Seireitei, Chika showcased exceptional skill in Hakuda, utilizing it exclusively to dispatch enemy soldiers with ruthless kicks.
His considerable physical strength allowed him to decapitate a Quincy with a single powerful kick.
Yhwach noted that Chika was notorious for being a brutal and cold-blooded killer, as evidenced by his massacre of the Quincy from the Lichtreich during their initial invasion of Soul Society.
