Chaka, also known as "Chaka the Jackal," is one of the two head guards serving under Igaram in the Arabasta Kingdom, with Pell being the other. In Igaram's absence, Chaka takes on the role of acting captain of the royal guard. He consumed the Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Jackal, a Zoan-type Devil Fruit that enables him to transform into a jackal or a human-jackal hybrid.
Chaka was often seen alongside Pell. However, during Sir Crocodile's assault on the kingdom, he chose to confront Crocodile. Driven by anger at Crocodile's ruthless actions and lack of compassion, Chaka attacked him out of rage. His motivations were not solely personal; he also aimed to protect Vivi and Kohza while buying them time to end the battle. Despite his valiant efforts, he was easily defeated but managed to survive. Later in the Arabasta arc, he appeared commanding the royal guard to cease fighting and was later seen at Pell's grave.
His most recent appearance was when the Straw Hat crew received their bounties following the CP9 arc. He was somewhat surprised to see Robin among the Straw Hats.
