badrach

Badrach first appears in the manga in chapter 3. Badrach operates as a mercenary for hire. We first encounter him waiting alongside Lombert's agent, guarding cargo bound for Villnore. He expresses admiration that his partner for this mission is the "infamous Arngrim." Despite Arngrim's stubborn silence during their journey, Badrach continues to chat, noting that the generous payment suggests their client must be Lombert. Before he can elaborate further, the Artolia cavalry halts them to inspect their cargo. Upon discovering Princess Jelanda, Badrach flees. While hiding and waiting for the situation to calm down, Badrach informs Arngrim about Lombert's espionage activities in Villnore and his sinister plans to incite war between Villnore and Artolia. After hearing the screams of soldiers, Badrach and Arngrim return to the road to find that Princess Jelanda has been transformed into a demon. Badrach provides Arngrim with information about the ghoul powder used on Jelanda and then escapes. Badrach originally appeared in Valkyrie Profile (Playstation) and does not appear elsewhere.
