Asguiaro Ebern is an Arrancar serving the Vandenreich.
Appearance:
Ebern is a tall and slender male Arrancar with short, light-colored hair swept back, forming peaks on both sides of his head. His mask fragment, located on the left side of his forehead, is a long white mask with multiple holes. His right eyebrow points upwards unusually. He wears a long, white, double-breasted trench coat with shoulder straps, fastened by a black belt adorned with a decorative buckle. Underneath, he has white trousers and trench boots.

The Thousand-Year Blood War arc
Ebern suddenly appears in Ichigo Kurosaki's bedroom while Ichigo is asking about Ryūnosuke Yuki's name. Ebern introduces himself fully and asks if there are any other questions. Ordered by Ichigo to get off his bed, Ebern refuses, leading to him being kicked out the window. Holding his head outside, he wonders why he was struck. When Ichigo demands to know his intentions, Ebern seems confused. Redirected away from Ichigo's house, Ebern denies being an Arrancar when questioned and tries to present himself as a Quincy. Forming a large weapon, he asks if Ichigo finds his powers familiar.
Taunting Ichigo during their fight, Ebern becomes excited when Ichigo activates his Bankai, believing it will be the end of the Substitute Shinigami's Bankai. After preparing a special technique and reciting an incantation, he manages to wound Ichigo's arm, but Ichigo quickly breaks free and fires a Getsuga Tenshō at the stunned Ebern. As the smoke clears, a severely injured Ebern angrily wonders why Ichigo's Bankai didn't vanish. Surprised by Ichigo appearing behind him with his blade at Ebern's face, Ichigo states he is taking Ebern for questioning. However, Ebern escapes using shadows and informs Ichigo that they only hide the "chosen ones".
While kneeling before his leader, an injured Ebern witnesses Luders Friegen's death. His superior neither blames nor praises Ebern, noting that although he did not defeat Ichigo, he slowed him down enough to prevent any interference. Declaring Ebern a foundation of peace, his superior then kills him.
