Only seven years old, Alice was rescued from an attack by several undead by Takashi after her father was killed by members of a household that refused them safety. Innocent and passive, she remains the sole member of the group who maintains a cheerful attitude amidst their numerous troubles and the loss of her parents. Viewing everyone in the group as elder siblings, she is unwilling to leave them, even if it means risking her own safety.
Alice is often seen playing with a small dog named Zeke, whom they had picked up while saving her, and Kohta, to whom she has grown fairly attached. Saya acts as a mother figure for her, someone Alice has also grown close to. As the series progresses, Alice frequently assists Kohta by handing him magazines for his firearm during attacks on the group.
