Nicknamed Absalom of the Graveyard, he is one of Gecko Moria's henchmen. He commands the soldier sect of zombies on Thriller Bark, and his subordinates often mock his perverted nature by calling him "Erosalom." Initially introduced as an invisible man, his true form is that of a man with various animal parts surgically attached by Dr. Hogback. These parts include a lion's face, the thick skin of an elephant, and the condensed muscles of bears and gorillas. He has eaten the Suke Suke no Mi (Clear Clear fruit), which grants him the ability to turn invisible at will and to make objects or people invisible by touching them. This power allows him to conceal a pair of bazookas strapped to his arms, enabling him to fire blasts that seem to come from nowhere. These blasts are incredibly powerful, capable of felling trees and causing fiery explosions. Like many other characters in One Piece, Absalom has a unique laugh, described as a growl-like "garurururu."
