While there are hints of nationalism, it's handled in a way that isn’t overbearing or insufferable. As far as I recall, there’s no racism, making it an enjoyable and accessible read. Overall, it’s a lighthearted and engaging novel—perfect for anyone looking for a fun and unique take on the genre.

Post this on the fanfiction section, I think it will get it's deserved attention there. The readers on this side are typically different from fanfiction readers.

Alright, so Chronicles of the Shadow Sovereign is a pretty solid read. The story moves fast, keeps you hooked, and the world-building is actually pretty good. You can tell the author put effort into crafting the setting, and it pays off.That said, there are a few things that could make it even better. First, the emotional depth—Levi goes through a lot, but sometimes it feels like we’re just told how he feels instead of really experiencing it with him. A bit more focus on his inner struggles—his fears, regrets, all that good stuff—would make him even more relatable.The dialogue could also use some work. It’s not bad, but some conversations feel a little stiff or generic. If each character had a more distinct way of speaking, it’d make the interactions way more fun and natural.And lastly, the pacing. For the most part, it’s great, but some big moments—like emotional scenes or major reveals—happen so fast that they don’t fully sink in. Giving those scenes a bit more breathing room would make them hit harder.Overall, I’d say this is a great story with a lot of potential. If the author polishes up the emotional depth, dialogue, and pacing a bit, this could easily be a top-tier read. Definitely worth it.

It has a gripping and immersive quality that blends dark fantasy, political intrigue, and slow-burning tension. The way the world is built—especially the palace’s dangerous atmosphere—creates a setting where every conversation feels like a battle. Thenovel has strong similarities to:“Reign” (TV Series)  , this is a great start for a masterpiece.

Its a really nice book! I like the magic, its cool, and the book as a whole is attention-grabbing too! Its really well rounded, and I also espically like the title, because its so spiky and cool to look at. and I kinda want to be in a pirate attack, but I live in the middle of a city, so that would be weird. Whoever reads this, why did you waste your time looking at this pointless review. Have a good day!

A novel with a very nice premise, written by an author who has already proven their capacity to write this sort of story, expect a nice side-serving of comedy to go along with the whole thing!

amazing start, I really like how the author writes even though it was a bit of a slow read it grabbed my attention from the start, though i wished that the author would update more frequently via stockpile if writing everyday is just not your thing, keep it up author
