Wtf this is so beautiful. Can't believe I putted this on-hold for so many months.

It's impressive how Kojiro can make out what people are saying just from the movements of their mouth. Didn't think he was too capable of communicating until now.

                        So, Kojiro has finally gained a friend. Good for him.

You'd think such a different type of volume from normal Vagabond would be boring or of lower quality but it not only maintains the magnificence of the story, but in some instances even exceeds it.

I like Tenki. He's a bit of an asshole, but he's a good kid.

What an awesome chapter. I love that it focuses on how a reckless person fueled by one's ambition and hubris eventually becomes humble enough to open up to someone and build a connection with them.



Also.. is this the "Sasaki Koujiro" that was killed when Matahatchi didn't protect him from the villagers because they thought he was a spy? I think it might be as the author has a history of bringing characters back even for a chapter or two interweaving the emotional ties they bring to the more prevalent characters.
