now this. these quotes are edging me



love the advice, the old man is seriously wise and knows that being "invincible" isn't just about strength or durability. infact i think the word is completely meaningless, and that your mindset and tranquility is what truly makes you stand out. thats how i interpret the quote anyway. glad musashi listened. im sure he'll grow even further

One of my favorite manga chapters probably in all the manga I've read. The introspective quality to close your eyes to see just how infinite the world truly is is incredible. Love how Sekishūsai gave Takezo advice and Takezo listened. I think on his quest to be "invincible" he's going to realize that he will have to abandon that goal to truly become invincible in body and mind.
