Highschool of the Dead Chapter 27 Discussion

Has anyone noticed,that Saya begins to show an affection to Kohta? Page 15 of chapter 27.



She never acted like this before.Looks like she  was  just happy to help Hirano



And we know the reason why she is acting like this,right?

The chapter had some funny scenes with Hirano, Alice and Shizuka but without losing sight of the serious tone of the characters due to the events of chapter #25. When Takashi asks Kohta if they are taking too many weapons and Hirano says that he wants the group to be capable of control its own destination. By the way, Saeko is even more Femme Fatale with that gun.I hope for the more action in next chapter.



P.S.Could anyone tell me,which chapter of volume 6 manga was the last one-chapter 26 or 25?

I lol'd@ kouta getting a nosebleed from his new toys.

It was nice to see hirano into his gun otaku mode again and busujima looked like she's enjoying killing more and more. About 'J-Alert' I think some big plot twist is coming. Well we'll have to wait 2 months for the next chapter.

I liked the chapter, but do we really have to wait another two whole months for the next one, right after the manga is returning from a hiatus? Not too much happened in this chapter. I would have expected a whole lot more from it, for it to be on a bimonthly release schedule (in the sense of every two months).

I thought this chapter was okay, and I agree that them dying from the J-Alert would be a good plot twist but I honestly think this manga could/should be following multiple groups at once or have another series by the same author/artist about a different group trying to survive or something like that. =3



Overall an okay chapter and Saeko + Gun = Awesomeness!!

J-Alert...

I think Japan on emergency condition like missiles are on their way to nuke Japan, and pretty make a sense. Maybe because of that, all officers get their ass out after receive that msg...
