Honestly, I'm hoping he won't be able to since it would really warp the series and undermine a key plot point (that he has zero talent at martial arts).



No i think it's about time we saw serious progress. I mean how many chapter have we read. This manga has been going forever and he wasn't even close to a master.

I think is good if the main finally took a step close to finally becoming a master.

Are you calling Kenichi himself "garbage" or the series? If it is the former, he is still learning and growing from real combat situation against some tricky opponents, and if it is the latter, you could, you know, just drop the series. Simples.

Was there ever any doubt he'd pull through?
