Been waiting for a defeat too. But HSDK just isnt the type of manga to kill someone off so I assume Apachai wont died most likely.

I am happy to see that it's an actual war ,not just 6 masters and two disciples whoopin everyones ass. I was quite shocked when he took such a fatal wound, which im pretty sure pierced the left lung and grazed the heart based off the straight body image. On top of that he just fell... Didn't stagger at all just hit the ground. With this though only 1 of three paths will be choosen and that is masters will come to the rescue, masters won't and kenichi will rage slaughter, or aggard will leave with a defeated disciple and masters will come at the last second and apachi will die. (36% chance of a mix of the mentioned). Though it's also possible aggard will go slaughter mode or fall over dead himself. He took quite a headshot...



You pretty much summed the better half. It's like watching a god turn into a human. Since the beginning of this manga, I've always thought (AH! well I bet they would never really lose in a battle), because they literally made these people out to be god-like monsters. If he actually dies, it will pretty much change the whole way I look at this manga.

If HSDK pulls some stuff and he survives it would seem too unrealistic (but lets not start a realism debate ha); if he dies... *tear*

What a way for this manga to celebrate reaching 400 chapters. That was seriously surprising and unexpected. It's probably the first time in memory that a master of Kenichi lost but he sure won't die. There's going to be retribution if he does :/



Reaching 400 chapters though is a great feat. It's behind by Bleach by only 21 chapters. I'm impressed.
