It’s not perfect, and is in no way a literary masterpiece. But, it's innovative. Sure, we’ve seen the same tropes before; parallel worlds, time traveling, DID, esports, mystery mu*der ect. But we haven’t seen them incorporated together. I think it was such a fresh attempt, and while not perfect, it was entertaining to read.I also appreciate the character developments of the not only the male leads but also the supporting characters, and even one semi villain character.Although I admit that the esports aspect was slightly unrealistic and fantastical, it’s the novel’s freedom to expand wherever it wants, I mean we already have parallel worlds after all.It was a greatly satisfying novel overall. On NU standards, definitely higher than a 4.1 rating, I’d have to say it’s an underrated story. I’d definitely recommend it for those looking for an esports BL with a slightly different taste.
