This novel is very fluffy and slice of life-y that I almost have no complaint to say except for a few things that I'm personally uncomfortable with. The first thing is about how abrupt and jarring the change of tone here. I thought I'm used to it from how many C-novels I've read before but boy how wrong I am.The novel goes from lovey dovey daily life sitcom to an office meeting-wide panic about a phone update. Literally. There's even a company mole situation after a fluff while there wasn't any foreboding signs beforehand that involved chara A or B.The second thing is about how unfriendly this novel is to non-Chinese readers.I didn't notice at first because this novel's actually interesting and the plot is unique but as I read further there are more terms, games and apps I didn't recognize but the author and the tl team rarely took the effort to explain about them. It's always 'MC played this or watched tv with this' and here I am not even knowing what the heck they're talking about. When I tried to google about the apps or games they were talking about, apparently google doesn't recognize them too and the results that appeared were garbled random things so Google and I got lost together. It's like this novel wasn't supposed to be read by foreign readers because to be honest I've lost count of how many jokes and situations I didn't find funny because they're simply Chinese things.
