My review at chapter 26:Cringe. I went into this expecting a funny read but with a smart fl. Idk if I'd say it's a funny but it's light hearted, however, smart fl? Nowhere to be found. This may be because I'm so accustomed to reading these historical novels with a calm and calculative FL that seeing a FL run around and embarrass herself for the ML makes me want to rip my eyes out.Idk if the author was going for the grumpy×sunshine thing but it's not working out so far. I feel embarrassed for her rather than finding her behavior endearing. I am also not very interested in their romance anymore BUT I am only on 26 so if I do continue I'll update my review.Edit: Skipped ahead to chapter 50. They're married now but it seems the jealously arc is about to start. This will be put on hold for now. I love a good romance novel but because of my personality I can't stand novels where the FL is overly obsessed with the man its just not fun to read. Its better if the man is the one obsessed, maybe the ML will eventually be like that but for now this novel isn't my cup of tea.
