Yes, this novel is funny. Actually there are more funny moment but I can't express it here.
After that Mc wake up and rushes to toilet. So it seems that syrup is special.  With only a drop it can make you immortal.  So basically Mc become God. All his impurities are washed out (That's why he fart) and become more beautiful,  more slender like a woman. 

This reminds me of the mangas Beelzebub and Yuyu Hakusho. Both the prince and king of hell were babies with tremendous powers, farting included. 

Reminds me of my dog... thought he took a dump in my room- but after searching for 10 min did it turn out to be a fart...
