Oh also I'm on chapter 68? of the manhwa and this is what is happening at the moment.
Ginger and Elisha have switched bodies and Ginger went to that ball? on behalf of Elisha because their bodies are switched. At the ball he is met with the goth b*tch Julia and she tries to stir up drama between the couple but I'm pretty sure Ginger (in Elisha's body) doesn't give her the satisfaction. That causes Julia to get mad and run home to her father (head of Trigger family) and say that she wants Ginger (bc she is really jealous and thinks Ginger should only love herself.) The next day Ginger returns and Elisha (in Ginger's body) has been meets him and they talk. She asks him what he discussed with Julia the previous night but he won't tell her (Elisha knows because the buttler told her the night before that Elisha (who is actually Ginger) had a small inconvience with Julia.) Elisha is hurt that Ginger won't share her what they discussed and hurt more because Ginger tells her not to go to this conference? that is taking place. Elisha, feeling helpless, begins to hurt more because she's afraid that Ginger is still in love with Julia and asks Ginger if it's wrong for her to care about him and then the two kind of like get in this emotional fight where Ginger accidentally? admits that he knows that Elisha loves him but he can't respond to her. Elisha realizes that he knew for a while and she feels heartbroken because of how expectant and excited she is whenever she gets into contact with him and that she must have looked like a fool this entire time to him, who knew of her feelings. She runs out crying but her assistant who teaches her things while she is in Elisha's body sees her crying and she realizes that she's in Ginger's body and that Ginger would not be crying like she is. But the assistant knows its Elisha because of how different the couple werre acting recently so he takes Elisha to a silent room and talks to her. He then goes to talk to Ginger but then gets upset at him for how his behavior hurts Elisha. The couple become even more distant than they were at their marriage and Ginger feels uneasy but he also is just not vocal about anything and just silently hopes Elisha will be okay. Elisha is definitely not okay and she falls ill and becomes bedridden. The buttler helps her to the bed and leaves to tell Ginger what is happening. Ginger is trying to be beside Elisha while shes sick but another buttler comes in to inform them that there is a guest. The guest is Julia's dad (the head of Trigger family). Ginger decides to go so that Elisha can rest. Julia's dad is shocked to see Elisha instead of Ginger and says that what he has to say is for Ginger and not Elisha but Ginger doesn't back down and tells him to sit down because he's come all the way to their house. They begin talking and Julia's dad tests (who he thinks is Elisha but is actually Ginger) by telling 'her'(Ginger) that he came because he wants Ginger to be with Julia again and that Ginger and Julia have a relationship that is deep and went on for awhile. He then asks 'Elisha' if she is willing to do this for Ginger and questions if she'd even be happy staying by Ginger's side. Ginger in Elisha's body responds by saying that Ginger told her that there was a promise that Julia's dad and Ginger had made in the past to not mess w Ginger again? and that he would erase what happened in the past. The count is taken aback that Ginger told Elisha about this (because he thinks that Elisha is Elisha but Ginger is actually the one talking in Elisha's body) when they've only been married for a little while. Julia's dad tries to bribe Elisha some more by saying that he'd pay for her espenses and what not if she leaves Ginger but then Ginger (in Elisha's body) threatens him some more with more confidential information (referencing Julia's actual birth) and tells Julia's dad to leave and not bother them again. Julia's dad is shocked because he knows that Ginger knows that Julia is actually an illegitimate child and that this information can take down the Trigger family. But he becomes too thoughtful and thinks that Ginger hiding this information is Ginger's way of valuing Julia over Elisha. He then decides that he will not give up on getting Julia and Ginger back together. (I might have left out some details bc I don't remember exactly how this convo went between the two but I think that Julia's dad had the thought of hoping Ginger would get back with Julia peacefully so that blood wouldnt be shed in the city/country? that starts with an L. I forgot the name but I think he's just referencing to where they live. Oh and Ginger in Elisha's body referenced what happened at the engagement Julia had with the Prince which I think is when Ginger got stabbed by Julia's brother. I read comments or speculation that this happened because Ginger and Julia had s*x before marriage but I have not seen actual canon evidence that they did that together. And if I did I think I just erased that from my memory lol.) When Julia's dad returns he is frustrated and then Gillian (the son) comes to his office mad bc he knows that the dad went to Elisha and Ginger's residence. Gillian asks what his father said to Ginger and then the father just says that things will be find if Ginger doesn't faulter. I don't know what he meant by that but he is still trying to get Julia to be with Ginger because he wants to take care of her as much as he can because of how difficult her origin birth is. Julia's brother is mad and admits to his dad what he did in the past to Ginger but the father stops him and says I already know all about that and he gets confused on why his dad didn'st say anything then.
At Elisha and Ginger's residence, Elisha begs Ginger to stay beside her while she is bed ridden and he does. She wakes up and sees him and he tells her she can continue to rest and that he already took care of the work that needed to be done. Ginger and the butler/elishas assistant go to a separate room and talk about what can be happening to Elisha because Ginger is not vulnerable to stress nor has he ever gotten a fever before. They think back to the incident that happened with the magical tool she used when they had the mock fight among houses and deduct that it could be because Elisha's mana is so powerful that she can not control it herself.
