It doesn't seem like he has lingering feelings for Julia. He was taken aback when he met her again because it has been long since they met as he thought she always tried hard not to attend the event where they would met. So he wondered, why she suddenly appeared now. I think the relationship they had was more because they grew up together, not that he loved her (he believed he is incapable of love, all he does is to get stronger so no one would ever belittle him anymore).
Anyway, in several occasions, Julia approached him but he paid no attention to her :
1st meeting : he had cold sweat because he was afraid that Elisa would be mad, especially that Julia tried to flaunt their close relationship by (almost) touching his cheek (but he stopped her hand before it touched his cheek). But Elisa was chill and all smile (love her!)
2nd meeting during the tournament : Elisa was missing and everyone was looking for her. Ginger was anxiously sitting on the staircase, and Julia came to him, caressing him and seducing him. But she got totally ignored. He didn't even listen to her and rushed to hug Elisa when she came.
3rd meeting (they are in switched body mode) : Julia came to Elisa (Ginger is inside) and complimented her on the tournament (she brought victory to the house), asking her about how Ginger treated her. Ginger thought that it was not normal for Julia to ask Elisa something like that when they are not in friendly relationship.
After that, Julia came to Ginger (Elisa is inside), and vilified Elisa. Saying that she is not as smart as she thought, and she brought shame to the family because of how she acted in the tournament (wtf you double face betch). But Elisa (inside Ginger body), stood for herself and set things straight. Julia was taken aback, and apparently Ginger (inside Elisa body) came, asked Elisa to hold her hand, walk away and don't turn back (yyaaaaasssshhh!), although Elisa was afraid at first that she said things as Ginger and thought Ginger would be mad when he heard that.
Ahhh I'm so head over heels with this couple. help!

Up until chapter 60, it isn't clear what exactly happened to the 4 of them. It is said that it was because of Julia's decision that Gillian almost killed Ginger.
Anyway, so far, Gillian seems like a good friend of Ginger (and Elisa). He prevented Julia to go out and find Ginger, and he told her that Ginger has found someone that is (overall) better than her, and makes Ginger happy. So don't mess with them.
