to answer this from LCD thread, FCY did not cheat on Jiuling. It was just plot, FCY did not touch the maid, the maid pregnancy is fake 

LOL, these ~800+ chapters are dense, lots of stuff to cover.

I LOVE the Duke's household. They're all made of win.  

I tried reading some, but then I saw the amount of chapters and... sigh... Something about the pace doesn't agree with me. Each chapter delves into unnecessary details and wordy explanations which slow down the plot progression. Honestly, I was bored. It doesn't help that it already isn't an original concept (that usually doesn't bother me, as long as the characters are interesting and the pace is snappy). It takes a few chapters whenever the MC moves from point A to point B, and several more chapters of conversation and battle of wits. But nothing actually happens in the meantime. Maybe I'm being too harsh, I already don't have the patience for such draggy novels. At least, no patience to MTL them. I'll wait for the official translation and that's that. 

It's a generally slow-build novel, so be prepared to wait. Things do get very funny when ML (Zhu Zan) shows up though. Partly this is because Jiuling is never perfectly calm in front of him. Don't push yourself though lol, because as mentioned, this novel is one of those ones that you either know you like or don't like nearly right away. I figured out I liked it within like 10-30 chapters and liked it more the further in I got. 

Did FCY do it to draw the conspirators against his family? Also, how does Jiuling get to the capital if she was "married"?
