i dont know why I dont like the ML here, is it because how he was drawn? Because the first and second man who has kidnapped were both handsome and cute. Maybe, they should make look more mature bcz he was drawn poorly here seriously I cant root for him this way.

My theory was that Serife might got weakened due to worshipers distorted faith in him. The emperor of the holy empire was a trash, most of its citizens might never believe in him at all and he could only lend our former saintess his blessing, but as time pass he might got tired since his worshipers have yet to change and the empire slowly begun to collapse on its own.
He shunned our Mc and decides to wait for her death, send her back in time to serve him by cleaning the trash that rots the empire from within and saves those who could become the figure of change.

I was really curious abt this duke family. She is too similar with the duke. Her eyes and her hair, maybe she is really the daughter who lost years ago?

Um, I think I write my theory wrong.
I think Serife might got himself weakened due to Empire's corruption or let's say, there's a third party involved to ruin the Empire's belief in their religion.
Maybe this was why our Mc got sent back through time, it was said that her new step-dad (the mob boss) was a criminal that wishes to keep everything in check to the point he bribes the Emperor as well.
The Emperor who was a stubborn jerk that allows her people to suffer to satisfied his own ego and needs that he neglected his own duty as leader of the holy empire itself.
Serife might knew how much the saintess hates him, and thus gave her a chance to 'avenge' him/ them all by changing how the story goes in the beginning.
