To be exact, iirc both Wisdom Sword (also known as Acala Blade or Budong Rushan) and the Heart Lamp are needed to *kill* Mara, but they cannot coexist in the same person; they're weapons given by different deities, and in fact the Heart Lamp is meant to direct its wielder to the inheritor of Wisdom Sword. The sword was created by Budong Mingwang; it's his weapon that also has multiple forms, one of which is the sword. When Li Jinglong begged him, iirc Budong Mingwang separated its different forms and split it across the cast. Afaik the resonance is less they're made of the same material as much as bc Kong Xuan's soul is in it...?But I haven't properly finished so ...

It was good to read TBFYL that I fell asleep on 2:00 A.M.
One time Chong Ming visited Hongjun after fighting the nine tailed-fox. I was like aww, when CM sees Hongjun's left ear is wounded, he healed it using his phoenix powers. Then the two discussed about HJ returning to Yaojin Palace, but HJ didn't want to leave LJL since the members of Exorcism returned to their homelands.
Then, tension between father and son got bigger when LJL showed up.
Gosh, I can compare this to a daughter introducing their bf to their daddy.
LJL even called CM "Uncle Ming."
Then, CM attacked LJL with fire and HJ have to save him. It ended with a bitter farewell, where CM transformed into a Phoenix. HJ was almost fell to the cliff after grabbing his dad's tail feather and LJL hugged him to save him. HJ cries while holding a feather from his dad.

Okay based on the MTL version, one reason why QingXiong became bad is because there is a civil war in Yaojin Palace after Chong Ming's death. And Hongjun have to face him to take the throne and become the yao king.
- Then another dispute happened between Hongjun (HJ) and Li JingLong (LJL). HJ do not want the Court of Exorcism to interfere the yao civil war. LJL tries to go with him, but HJ would not allow him.
The quotes I remember:
"You are my home!" yelled Li JingLong. "I love you."
"I love you too," Hongjun replied.
Then HJ knocks LJL.
