Recap 9, chap 59-69

Urgh. There are so many part about war that I don't understand so I skipped it.

- JS army had defeated southeast n southwest countries. They then entered the capital of southwest king. The king had escaped though. JS showed JQ a secret chambers where the king put his treasure. One of the treasure was this rare sword that JS gave to JQ

- they were in Jiangnan now. JS was looking for Huainan king. He and JQ were eating in teahouse when someone noticed jQ's sword. Cause of misunderstanding, JS thought the newcomer was bothering JQ so he attacked him. They were balanced in term of martial arts.

- the newcomer turned out to be Gu haiqing, king of Huainan. JS recognized him. Years fighting with this person. He didn't consider GH as his enemy, but rather his lifetime opponent. This time though, GH was impressed by jS and suggested that they become sworn brother no matter their identities.

Js said. 'Status is different. Are you not afraid of what people will say?'
Gh ordered people to bring out paper, brush, etc. 'This is one in lifetime encounter. I will even say the prayer.
JQ chuckled when he heard it.
JS sighed and let GH started the prayer. It was then Gh asked his surname.
JS replied. 'Jing.'
GH froze since Jing was the imperial family surname.
JS then asked. 'Still want to become sworn brother?
GH said, smiling. 'Sworn. Of course become sworn brother.'

- later, JQ asked why GH wanted to become sworn brother with JS. JS replied that the man was elusive. Maybe it was for fun. He also asked JQ opinion about GH.
JQ replied, 'well informed with outstanding ability. Also very good looking with smile on his face, easily get along with people. This kind of people tend to win.'

- they had agreed to meet the next day. JS didn't bother with preamble. 'Since southwest n southeast have been defeated, what is eldest brother plan?'
GH retorted. 'The capital is also not calm. What does younger brother plan?
They talked. And then GH said that he would go to Beijing with them.
JQ had tiger cub n GH had lion cub as pet. When they were talking, the lion n tiger played together.

This GH later married JS's elder brother. 

The novel is the usual rebirth revenge ancient story except that this is bl.
I wish someone will translate this.

Can i ship the tiger and lion cub too?  

Maybe in the 1st life, he did do it with them later on or not since he didnt  know those were sent by his enemy/brothers to spy on him.
But in 2nd life he def didnt i think. 

The POV kept switching, but majorly was told from jing shao's point of view.

In the spoiler, whenever I wrote JQ thought, it meant it was his inner thought/pov in novel

Ofc JS spoiled JQ this time. In original timeline,  when he was at his lowest only JQ stayed with him. Only JQ endured suffering with him. And JQ died for him too. The person he abandoned n treated badly for 10 years. This second chance, he would repay everything he owned JQ. (This is his pov in novel) 

Well it's confusing as he first said only one isn't touched and later none ...
Well translation is so slow . 

Recap 10, chap 70-79

- JS n JQ returned to the capital. Maids n servants welcomed them. SL was also there, dressed beautifully. JQ was displeased when he saw her. JS seeing it, ordered servant to take her away. 'Who let her out?'

- JS went to court. A few ministers conspired with 4th prince to slander JS for bringing JQ with him to battle. JS was enraged. He brought out JQ's merit, how JQ uncovered corruption, gave strategy etc. In the end, the emperor said that it was him to let JS leave with JQ. He even said that he would bestow JQ with marquis title. The ministers n 4th prince's faces went dark. Not only they failed to impeach JS, they even caused JQ to get high reward!

- JQ returned to his house to visit his mum. There, he found out that his elder brother n cousins fell into pond. Their health wasn't good now. No wonder his dad official wife was sick with worry. He told his husband later. 'You're too ruthless.' JQ also suspected that his mum was pregnant.

- JS wrote divorce paper for SL. SL's dad dared to conspire with 4th prince against him. How could he let her stay? SL came n screamed abuse towards JQ. She even tried to kill JQ. Punishment for that crime was prison.

- JS took JQ to their bedroom, thinking that if JQ dared to persuade him to have concubine, he would not let JQ leave the bed in three days. Out of his prediction, JQ actually told him 'don't have concubine..'
JS's heart burst with happiness. 'Say it louder...i will do it.' He teased JQ.
JQ was annoyed. 'If you have concubine, don't touch me.' He threatened.

- JS n JQ went to JQ's home. Now JQ's elder brother was ruined (thanks to JS) n grandson still young, Marquis' residence could only depend on JQ.
JQ's mum was surprised to see JS with JQ. They both were speechless when JS called JQ's mum 'mother'.
JQ ordered to keep his mum pregnancy secret.
JQ's mum was worried for him. Imperial prince's favour was sincere. But how long this sincerity would last?
JS heard it and told her. 'In this life, i will only have Jun Qing.' He said that while hugging JQ.

- JQ finally became marquis. 4th prince n empress tried to no avail to change emperor's decision.
