And back then there's one that he rly favored and she made JQ miserable with the backing, but in the end she fled when all went crashed down.
imo, ML is basically a brawn type than brainy type, thus he gets duped and schemed easily.
I forgot, but what happend to his brother in the first life, why he couldnt help him when they were prisoned and chased?

- Jing Shao introduced Jun Qing as military advisor. At first, the generals there didn't like him coz what was a scholar doing there?
- JQ uncovered corruption in the army. The account book didn't match. The fund should be enough for clothes, meat etc but the army lived poorly, eating only dry vegetable. JS reported it to the capital. Situation got better and the generals in the barrack treated JQ better. They started to bond.
- JS tried to find opportunity to sleep with JQ. Most of times, he failed. When he succeeded, the next fews days JQ would punish him. For JS, it was like fasting after banquet. He would train extra n the poor army would suffer along with him.
- they went to village near the army base. They got their pet tiger there. JQ tried to recruit a person there.
- JQ did provide insight for jS and the army. He was smart and studied dilligently as compensation for not having martial arts ability. Not that JQ's dad appreciated it. As usual, when thinking of JQ's family, JS felt that JQ was wronged n pitied him.
- they went to battle. N JQ got hurt in the shoulder. When they were in tent for treatment, JQ ordered for people to give noodlle to JS to eat.
- they then went out and talked. They were near river n it was full moon.
JQ said. 'Today is date xxxx'
'Oh' JS only then realized that today was his birthday n the noodlee he ate was longevity noodle.

An assasin tried to kill JS but there was no one in the tent and their pet tiger attacked him. The assasin was caught. JS interogated him. But the assasin was only low level n didn't know anything. There was an incident with Wang Er, messenger from capital, and JQ's wound was opened. JS was angered. He wanted to delay the army so JQ could get proper rest after treatment but JQ got angry.
'There are one hundred thousand men in the army. Their fate is in your hand. You can not for my sake, because of selfishness delay the trip.'
JS was touched. His wife... really was the best. 'Wife is rational. This husband will be obedient.'
JS's elder brother sent a letter. The corruption in the army had connection with 4th prince. Since he was a prince, the matter was dropped n only officials got punished.
