The FL leads starting to notice that the ML expecting more feelings from her, however she is scared she will be forgotten once the OFL (original female lead in the story) shows up and end up like dead like her sister fate in the novel.
the ML is very jealous whenever a guy is getting close to the FL. he immediately unsheathe his sword.
chapter 11 of the raws came out !! the red haired woman, Celestia(n?) is Countess Elan yk, and the knight the Emperor had been getting 'dating advices' from was Count Elan. But now the Emperor is mad at Countess Elan because her and Lilianne are going to hold a pajama party together, stay up talking together until the sun shines and all. The emperor is jealous, and he asks advice to Count Elan about what to do. He chooses the reasonable way : respect her choices, and not to be get too emotional over such trivial matters about her (countess Elan is just a friend, whilst Lilianne and him are going to be husband and wife). Then it's the evening and Lilianne and the Emperor talk. He says that he thinks they should start preparing for the wedding. Henna asks Lilianne if she wants to take a look at the Empress' chamber / wing in the palace, which leads the emperor to state that 'It doesn't matter since they can share the same bed'... And Lilianne responds that they shall not, since they are in a 1 year contract marriage, and that in that case she should (just in case) preserve her virginity. The day after Lilianne meets with Celestia(n?) and they talk about what happened between Lilianne and the emperor the night before. Then Lilianne and the emperor are back together, bc it's bed time and the Emperor asks her if she wants to kiss him rn which she replies the 'of course she does', all smiling... But he's sad. Sad that she cannot show him her true heart.
True. This is one of those novels where you pity the Ml rather than the Mc. Lets hope that there’s a character development because if not, I’m also dropping this
So the sketchy white haired dude has a bone to pick with the ML because the woman he loved didn't loved him but the ML. The ML rejected her causing her to take her own life, since then the sketchy dude hated the ML for not accepting the girl since if he did she wouldn't be alive. The MC hated the sketchy dude since his reasoning for hating the ML are unreasonable since it was her decision to take her life not the ML and that he's hating the wrong person.
Once the sketchy dude found out that the ML loved her and is marrying her he started hating the MC for having the love of the ML since he believes that love should have gone to the other girl and the fact she became a weakness to the ML. So he planned in the beginning on gaining her trust and either kill her or have her betray the ML but we never found out since the MC doesn't trust him at all and expects him to take advantage of her or kill her which what he did in the original story.
All of his plans kept being overthrown by the MC being cautious, common sense, and a bit of the future knowledge which makes him hate her more as she keeps breaking his plans, she evens throws back the fact she knows what he's doing.
Ah, so basically this is like the end of the original book. Makes sense!
It was completely understandable and I didn't feel you were not a native speaker at all (I'm not the most reliable though, since I'm not a native speaker either but I know good from bad grammar).
