Anyone who says that art quality wasn't lost clearly skimmed through Berserk chapters. They vaguely captured the style, but the difference between Miura's hand and Studio Gaga's is insurmountable and obvious to any discerning eye.

Nah, it's just as good as their individual work with Duranki. It's as close to Miura's art as we will ever get. The nuances from his microscopic attention to detail aren't there, but the difference is not that big, just noticeable. While we do of course lose a bit in quality, their work with the art was great here.

I maintain my position. But it was not unexpected. It's just going to be frustrating listening to fans who can't tell or will pretend that there's no difference in the coming months. One thing that was lost was the weight of Guts' sword, which has been a staple since the very beginning of the manga. I expected them to be a little more careful with these little things but alas, they're going really barebones on production.

Btw Duranki had better art. I did read it, thank you.

Guts’ sword definitely still had its weight. Don’t have a clue what your talking about.

Lol, he was using that heap of raw iron like a kitchen knife. You skimmed through Berserk chapters real hard buddy. Someone needs to reread the very first chapter.

oh boy you love saying that to everyone here buddy. You must’ve skim read the new chapters. When guts does that first swing against Griffith it very clearly has weight. You should reread the new chapters 😘

It's actually kinda insulting to Miura to consider the artistic immaturity of the new chapters to be just as good as the sophisticated hand of Miura. I expected as much from the assistant staff, just please stop pretending that they're the same lol I thought the new chapters were great. It’s obviously not the same but it’s still very good art and it still feels like berserk. Try and grow up and actually just enjoy something. I promise your life will feel more rewarding.

I do enjoy them. Just not as much as Miura's Berserk. I've been a Berserk fan since 2016 and am an artist inspired by Miura. I have very strong feelings for the franchise and have a right to be. That said, I have less problems with Studio GAGA and more problems with ppl who can't tell the difference.  I think a lack of maturity is the problem then. All I said was that guts’ sword was as normal. Try to let other people have their opinions next time.

They did a good job capturing Griffith's gay aura and that's what really matters.

Griffith is strong, Guts cannot touch even him.

It felt more like his sword was just phasing through him, like thin air if you get what I mean.

Yeah, I think it's more like Griffith hologram is there. The moonlight boy is such a mystery.

Is moonlight boy & Griffith are the same person?

I think since griffith did so and so to casca the child is possibly a mix(?) between him and guts and maybe the child took some of his powers or smt and transformed into griffith I dunno i am just very happy we got new chapters

. Guts easily beats Zodd 1v1 btw

history has shown this isn't the case

Griffith moving so fast it looks like he's teleporting out of Guts's way. I can't even imagine the agony he'd be in and yet Guts still tries to strike him down.

Also Zodd must have travelled extremely fast to get from falconia to the elf island....maybe he can help us skip another boat arc??

Either way an apostle is here and things are not going to go well. I doubt griffith will let Guts have any peace.

I don't think Griff was dodging the blows ... more like he was a halogram that couldn't be touched ..

I'm sure they'll explain in future chapters

no explanations on Zodd tho .. he seems to receive a Batman signal anytime Griff is in trouble

The art is insanely well, didn't disappoint for sure. Well, never imagined for Zodd to be there so that'll be some extra trouble on top. Guts is already losing his head.

my theory may possibly come true, griffiths came here with his army of monsters to kill all ans only a handful will survive, well I just want guts to kill at least zodd, so many years and his revenge amounted to 0 important kills
