Griffith is strong, Guts cannot touch even him. And I didn't expected Zodd to be here, and I should have expected him because anywhere Griffith is Zodd will be there to.

I wonder is Griffith came here to take Casca with him, or just here to destroy the island or just came to talk.

Amazing chapter.

FACTS. I hope they dont retread material tho

They did a good job capturing Griffith's gay aura and that's what really matters.

It felt more like his sword was just phasing through him, like thin air if you get what I mean.

Yeah, I think it's more like Griffith hologram is there. The moonlight boy is such a mystery.

Is moonlight boy & Griffith are the same person?

From what I could gather, Griffith used Guts and Casca's demon child to give himself a form in the human realm, and every full moon, this child takes over Griffith's consciousness and visits mama and papa in the moonlight boy form. Just my thoughts on it, nothing confirmed.

That's a great analysis. I think we will get more answers in next few chapters.

I'm so hyped for Zodd vs Guts! My money is on guts. I think it's going to be a while before we see guts defeat Griffith. He's gonna need an army. He'll also have to gain a new power or two...

Finally, it's back! And the art is holding up pretty well! Things kinda went as I thought when Miura made the final chapter before his passing. Casca suffering once Griffith appears and Guts going berserk(no pun intended). But apparently, Griffith is just messing around.

I wasn't expecting Zodd to appear right now but I'm excited with the direction the team is going to take.

Anyone who says that art quality wasn't lost clearly skimmed through Berserk chapters. They vaguely captured the style, but the difference between Miura's hand and Studio Gaga's is insurmountable and obvious to any discerning eye.

Nah, it's just as good as their individual work with Duranki. It's as close to Miura's art as we will ever get. The nuances from his microscopic attention to detail aren't there, but the difference is not that big, just noticeable. While we do of course lose a bit in quality, their work with the art was great here.

I maintain my position. But it was not unexpected. It's just going to be frustrating listening to fans who can't tell or will pretend that there's no difference in the coming months. One thing that was lost was the weight of Guts' sword, which has been a staple since the very beginning of the manga. I expected them to be a little more careful with these little things but alas, they're going really barebones on production.

Btw Duranki had better art. I did read it, thank you.

Guts’ sword definitely still had its weight. Don’t have a clue what your talking about.

Lol, he was using that heap of raw iron like a kitchen knife. You skimmed through Berserk chapters real hard buddy. Someone needs to reread the very first chapter.

oh boy you love saying that to everyone here buddy. You must’ve skim read the new chapters. When guts does that first swing against Griffith it very clearly has weight. You should reread the new chapters 😘

It's actually kinda insulting to Miura to consider the artistic immaturity of the new chapters to be just as good as the sophisticated hand of Miura. I expected as much from the assistant staff, just please stop pretending that they're the same lol I thought the new chapters were great. It’s obviously not the same but it’s still very good art and it still feels like berserk. Try and grow up and actually just enjoy something. I promise your life will feel more rewarding.

Hoping that we return to classic Berserk and a bunch of monsters (or Zodd/Griffith) kill all the stupid loli witches, mermaids, elves, etc. Then march about with their heads on pikes.

Was the last time you read Berserk 2005 or something? Talk about being out of touch.

I binged it 2016/2017 and then read every chapter on release. I'd wager that it's a common opinion that people prefer grim-dark Berserk compared to the boat arc, etc.

I like all of Berserk, but there's little doubt when the peak was.

There aren't many people who got into Berserk because of characters like Schierke or Isidro. Most people got into Berserk because of how violent, gory and intense it was.

There is no need to be rude friendo.
