The story has gotten really lame as well. Most of the later chapters are filled with, goblins attacking humans and raping them. The story has been moving really slow...

That "goblins" you're referring to are called trolls...and you're literally 100 over chapters behind. Why comment on this post if you're not even caught up? unless you've come here to bash the series, which clearly you are now.

Cus you're doing nothing more than bitching about the series for obvious reasons, which you are right now. And this thread is where anyone had CAUGHT UP with the series posts, not the other way around.



Come over to the evil side. I have it in my favourite as well. But I think it's overrated. I also don't think it deserve the #1 spot. Attack on titan should be #1.

Art is amazing like always, however I agree with the story not progressing it all. And it hasn't been for the last few chapters now. This chapter is at least a setup again, so we might see some actual plot progression in the next one, which is nice.



And to comment on the ''Hack and Slash/Nakama/Rage" etc. It has some sense to it I guess. I mean let's be fair, It was apparent Berserk added in some shounen elements to it. Which isn't necessarily bad mind you, but if you compare to what it was before I would get why some people wouldn't really like the series anymore.



Although I would like to play the devil's advocate about this, but clearly the guy you're replying to hasn't clearly been paying attention to the recent chapters. So I cannot take Ghost seriously at all. He's just jumping onto the bandwagon of naysayers WITHOUT reading the damn series whatsoever.



Plus, Camaraderie is a good thing for Guts, and we haven't been able to see him go berserk for awhile now. And what do you wanna see other than swords clashing? its a classic fantasy epic, what do y'all expect tho? So I think think the emphasis of Rage/Companionship/hack&slash was pretty absurd to say the least.

Luka is one of my favourite support characters and Falconia looks stunning. All these references to Greek and Romanic buildings of the past... it's beautiful.

My god people we are back in buisness, just received my update about the new chapter, haven't read it yet am going to be recapping the last 5 just to prepare myself for this 2yr wait

Seeing how this kingdoms changed so much, and how lovely it is now just has me fearing that it'll all be temporary.

Well, well, well I laugh at these people which focuses on the rank of a manga or anime. The important is not rank or what people think, but if you like the work in question.



If you carry too much attention to the rank because you do not like ou love it, it is useless or be on the defensive is not better.



With that, I missed the drawing and double pages are alway too beautiful.
