Berserk Chapter 334 Discussion

Finally another chapter!

Art is amazing like always, however I agree with the story not progressing it all. And it hasn't been for the last few chapters now. This chapter is at least a setup again, so we might see some actual plot progression in the next one, which is nice.



And to comment on the ''Hack and Slash/Nakama/Rage" etc. It has some sense to it I guess. I mean let's be fair, It was apparent Berserk added in some shounen elements to it. Which isn't necessarily bad mind you, but if you compare to what it was before I would get why some people wouldn't really like the series anymore.

You guys are all freaking out bout fanservice, 3 pages of girls bathing (yeah that is a ton), like its foreign to you or your immature enough that you are disturbed by seeing titties.



You should know that most dark fantasy always has some degree of nudity, sex and violence.



I almost forgot how incredibly detailed Amino Akira is with his drawings :D

Guts and Schierke's tag team rocks.

I liked the chapter, the art looked stunning, the city was well designed but I can't help but express my disappointment at what looks like it'll be another small arc that adds little to nothing to the progression of the main story.



This would be perfectly okay in a different series - developing the characters is important sure - but hell it's been over a year since the last chapter. The least Miura could try to do is speed up the progression of the story, or else no one will ever see the end of the story. Geez will we only see them getting to the Island in 2015 or maybe even later? This kind of progression really makes it harder to appreciate even what little we get these days.

so the mangaka used all this time to gather up inspirational material for this one chapter ! LOL





i forgot what the really important questions in beserk even were, in 5 years i might get the answers and not realize it :/





it's a good story and the drawing is great, but seriously i wish i could be sure the mangaka doesnt die before he finishes the story -.-

Yeah this was fucking awesome, the architecture in the city was outstanding, the art is still amazing after so many years. Really looking forward to more.
