Berserk Chapter 307 Discussion

I kinda hate how everyone sees Griffith as holy and good and the savior of the world when he's so utterly and irredeemably evil. While he does seem to have a talent for uniting demons and humans together, I have a feeling he wants to bring humanity closer to the monsters, not remind the monsters they were once human. Falconia does look beautiful, but it seems more ominous than anything.



Almost caught up already... elf island arc is next, lets hope this results in Casca at least regaining the ability to speak... her grunts get annoying.

This chapter was cool I suppose... There weren't really any new revelations or anything exciting going on. The only really good part about this chapter is that it seems like we'll be done with Griffith for awhile and focus back on Guts and the rest. Oh, and they finally make it to freaking Elf Island!!! It only took them like two years to get there!! Casca better be cured after all this bullshit dammit!!!



Anyways, like most people I am rather annoyed at how long it takes to release a chapter. It appears that Kentaro Miura creates a couple of chapters all at once and then releases them and goes on hiatus again. I wonder if he realizes that by the time the next chapter rolls around most people have forgotten what the hell was going on in the previous one. Truly not an effective way to tell an epic story.

The thing about berserk is this:



There will always be buildups before some epic events, they don't just pull them self's out of Griffith or the godhands ass, in a few years when people read this arc they will say "Omfg the art is so amazing" and love it, since they don't have to wait for the next one, this is a great buildup sequence, and you will have to see the whole thing to appreciate it.



Tl;dr in a few years with more story, this few chapters will be considered legendary.

A cool city, but the cost was too big, at least his followers don't know a thing.

I hope that elves can cure casca, even if she hates guts, i'd still want her to be sane. I miss the old casca too much...
