these chapters sure are very, very long

I can't tell if Guts is a genuine douchebag or a faux douchebag. The scene with the doctor was powerful though.

It seems like Guts had some issue with those demons too, when he compares himself with Varga, as Guts doesn't have an arm and also doesn't have an eye.

Guts is such an asshole, I don't know f he's doing it on purpose. Poor doctor... :/

Puck is kinda annoying reminds me of navi, hoping he dies at some point. The ending was pretty creepy looked like the ghosts were trying to turn guts into some kinda super undead thing to help power him up to get their revenge but he rejected it.

Pretty creep lol

In a typical fantasy story, the hero would swoop right in and save the day. But this is not a typical fantasy story. The saving would have probably had to happen much sooner anyways. I'm glad puck is here to shed some innocence in this grim world, but Guts is what's necessary to actually cause change.

I felt sorry for the doctor and also how Puck wanted to help him....
