Berserk Chapter 101 Discussion

GRIFFIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITH!!!!!!

I've never seen Guts more angry than this, and this is probably his highest level of rage.

Damn Guts cutting his hand and struggling just to save Casca shows his insanity.

Jesus, some people are so uptight about sex that they lose all mental balance and start brooding about gratuitousness or whatnot, instead of absorbing the material, keeping attention to details and letting it sink in. Rage breakouts like 'zomg rape bad' are laughable in the broader context of the manga.



Regarding the chapter itself, masterful storytelling. In an earlier chapter it read: 'when suffering so profound as to make someone rip himself apart is confronted, a heart is frozen'. What's left in Griffith are malice and longing for power. Hats off, Miura's genius.

God damn....just god damn...The art here was incredible. Gut's rage was....wow.

^ same it's all so disturbing yet were foreshadowed from previous volumes the way Griffith was looking at the two of them all the time after him being rescued.

Griffith = two faces. The first opportunity he had he let all of them die >.<. Guts and Caska didn't deserve that
