Why was Griffith my favorite character again...?

Man I have no words to say.It was very very sad to watching this.

The way Griffith's raping Casca was contrasted with Guts chopping off his arm was unnerving beyond words. Just... wow... I can't tell if this is horrible or amazing or both.



The worst part is that I don't see this as an act of lust for power over Casca (it's certainly not love) but rather an act of spite towards Guts. Casca was Griffith's tool and Guts stole her from him. It was clear before the Eclipse began that Griffith was bearing hostility towards Guts new relationship with Casca, and this is how Griffith is enacting his newfound power over both of them.
