That's Urasawa's style, he builds suspense slowly.

Ok.. What was that?! Who was that man that showed up there...? This manga knows how to implant the doubt. There are some things that I think that will happen... Idk how, but they will.

And the mystery of what Donkey saw that day...

What donkey really saw is still intriguing, and I guess that guy that walked by that restaurant was Friend?
