Saw it coming. I mean, only since the last two chapters, but still saw it coming. And still can't sort of believe it

wow that reveal was actually insane !!! i have to say i did kinda forget about fukubei's existence. i think one of the only scenes i remember him in is the one of him falling off the building on nye. i had to stop reading this manga a year ago to focus on school so after coming back a year later i've forgotten a lot of stuff unfortunately



honestly had a lot of theories about the friend's identity. i personally thought it was keroyon because what happened to that guy lol; at some point i thought it might have even been kenji - i think i circled through kenji's whole group of friends and was ruling them out one by one. even thought it was maybe some outsider that we hadn't been introduced to even though that theory didn't make much sense



i feel like fukubei isn't actually dead. i've been thinking that that could have been a duplicate (who had plastic surgery) even though that sounds kinda crazy lol but i really don't know what to expect next. i also firmly believe that kenji is not dead. after revealing that his friend group have all still been kicking around, i'm definitely thinking that kenji may have went into hiding - possibly out of shame?

I was 99% certain he's "friend" because of two flashbacks, if I remember correctly one was from SadaKiyo's POV and the other one was from Fukubei's POV, summarising:



1. SadaKiyo snuck into Kenji's secret base and said that that's where he met "Friend" reading The Prophecy Book by himself, and "Friend" invited him to read it together and keep it a secret from the others

Fukubei is a character that in relevance just come from 0 to 100 really quickly.

He's supposedly Friend? But now he's going to die?
