So Bleach is finally done now right?  Kenpachi released his shikai destroying the universe?

Oh Sheet Kenpachi is using 2 hands :O

A 1 handed casual swing destroyed Gremmy's meteor and a 2 handed only nicked Gerards blade.

Gerard is the real deal.

Why is everyone acting surprised about Kenpachi unleashing his shikai here in this chapter discussion? He used it like a hundred chapters back as well, he split a fucking meteor with it.

What does that mean for Ichigo? Was his previous zanpakuto a fake "constant release form" too? Is Kubo preparing a second bankai just for him?



I think that the whole idea was thought of by the author only to explain why Ichigo's was always in released form. But since it was said that Kurosaki's bankai wasn't really a bankai*, Kubo can now bin that idea in a harmless retcon statement in this chapter.

Aside of that, I think the chapter was ok. It is quite a few weeks that Bleach is somewhat enjoyable.







*by the head of the zero squad, he said that he knows every zanpakutou's name, but he couldn't remember Ichigo's

I'm not sure I quite get what your complaint is, maybe you could be a bit more clear.  



Anyway, it's refreshing to see a sword fight again, even if Gerard's is many times larger because of his size.  We don't get them much in Bleach these days and I miss seeing them.



If I understood the last panels correctly, his Sword counter attacks anyone who has damaged it, hence the big cut Zaraki had on his belly.  Since Zaraki is a heavy weapon melee fighter, he's gonna chip that sword with ease, ergo taking lots and lots of damage. It's a bit too convinient for me.
