i checked bleachs wikia ,and they belong to different families,im not sure where you got that,do you have any source?

My bad on this one. The big-sis was a formality , they were just friends.

But aizen wasn't a god at that point,i think they didn't even know about him having a hogyoku in his body that later began slowly turning him into that butterfly god thing,The goteis thought they were going to fight a shinigamis with a bunch of hollows,so why would shunsui think using a sword that only works against gods would be helpful.

also im not sure about nanao being in the battlefield in that battle,i dont remember seeing her in that arc at all.

and last, i agree that this sword thing came out of nowhere, but i think you can still kind of understand it without considering it a plot hole.

Worst case scenario, Aizen wins and becomes the Soul King, aka, a God. So why shouldnd't it be at the hands of it's rightful owner. To me it seems that transcedent Aizen was pretty Godlike. But even if that doesn't cut it then what is a God in this manga? Just Ywach and his fellas? That makes this convenience all the worst.

This sort of felt like it came out of nowhere but it was still cool to see. Never imagined Nanao would get a power up during this fight when it first started.

Wasn't expecting him to be Nanao's uncle, but I like this revelation.

"He was my brother's wife" "the person I've chosen to love"

Two great examples of why people should just stop reading mangapanda's translation. That group has been around for years and still has below average translating skills.

You know, this is what I felt like recently in Bleach all the damn time.

What's up with Vice-captains all of a sudden possesing god slaying abilities? If that's the case why didn't they pull all this shit against Aizen and opted to bet on Ichigo? Wasn't the late CC laying on the ground? Wasn't Aizen ready to obliterate the world? Why now and not then?

There was still the zero division as a last defense, also nanao wasn't with shunsui when they fought aizen.

This was a very interesting chapter. It was great to find out about the backstory behind Shunsui's relationship with Nanao's mother and the whole thing about the Ise family and the curse. So the Ise family's zanpaktou was hidden in the masked girl of Katen Kyōkotsu. That last panel with Nanao wielding the holy sword looked really awesome though. Nice to see Nanao getting some spotlight, very unexpected.

Quite cool chapter, we finally get to see Nanao in action with a Zanpakuto! I never expected the other half Kyoraku's zanpakuto to actually be hers or him being related to her.

The other half of his zanpakutou isn't hers, it was hiding hers within itself.
